Traveling has always been a huge part of who I am as a person. I haven’t been able to do it as much as I would like to, but I am going to try do it more often. I always said my dream job would be a traveling writer, preferably for film. I was supposed to go to Vegas this month with my friend, but due to the COVID19 pandemic, that was cancelled. I had also planned a trip in august, but that was reschedule for December because it was an event I was going to.
I have always wanted to visit California. At one point, I was willing to up and move there. I’d probably still do it if I had the money, but I’m a little more grounded and open to how I can work in film and still be a writer. Also, I have become interested in pursuing other goals and dreams that I have as well.
Hopefully in December, I get to go to Los Angeles, California. I plan on attending Beautycon LA, visiting the Santa Monica Pier, eating at The Boiling Crab, visiting Warner Bros Studio (my biggest excitement), hopefully I can win tickets to The Real talk show again, and so many other things that I want too do. My friend that I’m going with, she wants to do a helicopter ride, but since Kobe’s death, I’m not too sure about doing that in California. I’m hoping by December this pandemic will clear up because LA is one of the most highly effected areas and of course the whole entire New York State (the place where I live) is one of the highly effected areas.
I’m hoping in December, I can do a few blogs about my whole experience. I want to write about the days leading up to leaving, what I packed, the plane ride, the hotel, LA culture compared to Buffalo culture, coming home and being jetlagged, just everything. I can’t wait for this much needed vacation. I think everyone deserves some fun after this pandemic is over.
